Located in the centre of Delft
Gele Scheikunde is in an excellent location. Close to the lively city centre, at the pivotal point of the Zeehelden neighbourhood, BK-City and the TU Campus. Access by car, bike and public transport is excellent. The centre of Delft is six minutes by bike, Rotterdam and The Hague are about 20 minutes by car and, from 2024, Tram 19 will run from Delft Station to the TU Campus with a stop on Michiel de Ruyterweg level with Gele Scheikunde.
In the neighbourhood
The new Grand Café and the neighbourhood square will be the beating heart of Gele Scheikunde. This is where residents and neighbours can meet and where children can play safely. Another source of vibrancy and bustle will be the amenities that benefit the entire neighbourhood, from specialty shops to cafés and restaurants.

Landscape architects, Karres en Brands, will link all these elements into one harmonious whole. This will create a quiet neighbourhood with plenty of space. Existing trees will of course be spared as much as possible.
